Simple Ornament Card

Here is another Christmas card using the current sketch challenge from 'Tis the Season (my new favorite challenge blog!) - TTS3. I'm also entering my card into the Crafty Calendar Challenge - All Things Christmas.

The optional trimming this week is stripes, which is one of my favorite types of patterns. I especially like LOTS of bright colors together in stripes (but I stuck with Christmas colors for the card!). As a fun, silly example of my love of stripes, here is a picture of my umbrella! :) (I sometimes refer to it as my one-woman-gay-pride-parade! lol)

For some reason, in the card pics, the Real Red looks a little magenta-y. I swear it's red.

Can't forget the coordinating envelope!

This one, like the card from yesterday, is pretty plain and simple. Keep checking back this week for fancier cards using this layout!

Stamps: Delightful Decorations, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Dashing DSP, Real Red CS, Old Olive CS, Very Vanilla CS
Colors: Real Red Ink
Tools: Ornament Punch, Bitty Banners Framelits, Big Shot, Envelope Punch Board
Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin' Dimensionals

  2. You knocked it out of the park AGAIN! Love that pretty ornament Janet, its nice and simple yet you jazzed it up with the rhinestone and the striped DSP doesnt over power it.

So glad to have you joining us at 'Tis The Season!
