Trendy Trees

I am such a goof. Sometimes my stamping projects come from the weirdest things. Like the 3 inches of Brocade Blue ribbon I had leftover from another project but I didn't want to waste! So I pulled out my Color Coach and made a project with Brocade Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, and Chocolate Chip. And I finally mounted my Trendy Trees stamp set, which I got for free from my Sale-a-Bration sales! :)

Anywho, the first card turned out really cute, but then I realized I forgot to even use the ribbon! Duh. Haha so I made a second one (I like the first better tho).

Sneak Peek Swap #2

I felt bad for the Razzle Dazzle set because no one was signing up for it to swap. :( So I signed up to do not one, but two swaps using this set. Oi. Like I mentioned before, I wanted to change up the color scheme because everyone is using the whole pink-and-purple palette. So I came up with these colors all on my own! I changed my mind between funky and ugly a few times, but now I really like it! :) It reminds me of Mary Engelbreit stuff. I still couldn't figure out a layout or design, so I turned to SCS once again. I ended up totally CASE-ing this card by Chat.

I even made a few extra for myself, and I'm going to stamp different sentiments in the corner from the new Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. :)

Supplies: Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set; Real Red, Soft Suede, Barely Banana, Bermuda Bay, and Whisper White cardstock; Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper; Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede, and Real Red Classic Stampin’ Pads; VersaMark Ink Pad; Eyelet Border, 1-3/8” Square, 1-1/4” Square, 1” Circle, 3/4” Circle, and 1/16” Circle Punches; Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon; Bold Brights Brads; Mini Glue Dots; Stampin’ Dimensionals

Razzle-tastic Swap!

I gotta agree with Julie, some of these new names are a little ridiculous. :) But I REALLY like how my first sneak-preview swap turned out! I really didn't want to do new-In-Color-overkill, like most people seem to be doing. But I like the two pieces of Designer Series Paper that I picked out and it just worked out that way. For my second swap using this set, I took a totally different route and color scheme. Check it out tomorrow!

Supplies: Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set; Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, and Whisper White cardstock; Crushed Curry Textured cardstock; Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper; Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, and Melon Mambo Classic Stampin' Pads; Modern Label and Word Window Punches; Paper-Piercing Tool; Mat Pack; Stampin' Dimensionals

NMBS Swap #1

While browsing through the gallery at SplitCoastStampers one day last year, I found someone who said they were part of a group called No More Bad Swaps (NMBS). I thought it sounded cool so I joined! We recently did a "catalog favorites" swap, and this was my square card swap. I just love Party Hearty, and in general I love bright colors. So I just LOVE this card!

While I was trying to figure out what colors to use, I made this one to keep too.

The cards are 4-1/4" x 4-1/4".

Supplies: Party Hearty Stamp Set; Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Summer Sun, and Whisper White cardstock; Tempting Turquoise Classic Ink Pad; Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Summer Sun, and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Markers; Ticket Corner and 1/16” Circle Punches; Pumpkin Pie 1/4” Grosgrain Ribbon; Bold Brights Brads; Mini Glue Dots; Stampin' Dimensionals

Last Chance Stamps...

I have a TON & a half of stamps and accessories that I don't use and am selling and offering for trade. Check out my thread on SplitCoastStampers for that.

However, this post is focusing on some lovely products that are only available for a few more weeks! Both stamp sets and the Designer Series Paper (from hostess pack) are on the Last Chance list and will no longer be available after June 30! Heartfelt Thanks (item #114980, $32.95) is one of my very first stamp sets (it came in my Starter Kit way back in 2006). It is a GREAT set for poppin' pastels and two-step stamping.

I totally multi-tasked on this card. I used Stacey's Jewelry Color Inspiration #40 for the colors, SCS Sketch Challenge 232 for the layout, and now I have a card for my grandparents' anniversary! At the end of this month they'll be celebrating 61 years of marriage!! I think they've taught their 5 kids, 17 grandkids, and 4 great-grandkids a lot about love and family!

Supplies: Heartfelt Thanks Stamp Set, Hugs & Wishes Stamp Set; Certainly Celery and Whisper White cardstock; Pretty in Pink Textured cardstock; Garden Green Patterns Designer Series Paper; Garden Green Classic Stampin’ Pad; Garden Green and Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Write Markers; VersaMark Ink Pad; Stampin’ Pastels; Sponge Daubers

Jewelry Color Inspiration #39

I've been stamping all week - it's been so great! Unfortunately I've been super lazy about uploading pics and blogging. Anyway, here is my Jewelry Color Inspiration #39 submission right at the last minute! I really like this color combo - I will definitely use it again. I thought it was good for a masculine card.

This layout is also super simple and awesome! I got the inspiration from Julie awhile ago and have been using it ever since! It's also a good way to use up paper scraps! I was able to whip up 4 of these babies in like 30 minutes, and I've got all my Father's Day cards done! :)

Supplies: All Year Cheer II Stamp Set*; Basic Black, Taken with Teal, and Whisper White cardstock; Riding Hood Red Textured cardstock; Pumpkin Pie Prints Designer Series Paper*; Riding Hood Red Classic Stampin’ Pad; Taken with Teal and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Markers; Ticket Corner and Corner Rounder Punches; Stampin’ Dimensionals

So I'm having a retired stamp set clearance! Check out my offerings on ebay. I'm getting sleepy so I've only listed 11 sets so far. But tomorrow I'll be back with at least 20(??) more... Also some accessories! Check it out! :)
